Our current show features abstract artwork from three artists: Julie Quinn, Donna Kemper, and Jennie Kimbrough. These three artists have been acquaintances through Christians in the Visual Arts (CIVA) but have never exhibited together.

We anticipate having receptions and at least some of the artists being available for conversations on the Third Thursdays of Feb 15, March 21, and April 18, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

The show title comes from Donna Kemper's work, which includes abstract writing she calls Groanings.

This is summed up in Romans 8:26 "Likewise, the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words."
