Series Overview
During Lent, Jesus followers orient their lives toward the need for the resurrection power of Jesus to redeem sin, suffering, and death in the world. Over these next 6 Sundays leading up to Easter, we will be examining the different interpretations in which Jesus' life, death, and resurrection offers hope and good news for the human condition. In theology, these are called Theories of Atonement, or, making sense of what happened when Jesus went to the cross.
This week we begin our series Lent: A Community of Atonement.
We invite you to join us through the journey of Lent as we examine the dynamic nature of Jesus' death on the cross.
