Small Groups
Love God. Love People. Love the City.
At MCC, we believe that church is more than just a Sunday service. It's about sharing life together.
That's why our Small Groups are so important. They provide an opportunity for us to gather during the week, around a table, and be the people of Jesus in our neighborhoods. These groups allow us to build deeper relationships with each other, and to live out our faith in meaningful ways throughout the week. They are a vital part of our church community and a way for us to connect with others and feel a sense of belonging and support.

Small Groups are focused on community building and growing in our faith. We onboard people into Small Groups two times a year, in September and in January. Please email Pastor Jim if you are interested in joining a Small Group.

Small Groups at MCC meet at different times and in different places because every group is a little unique. When new groups form, one of the first priorities is finding a meeting time and rhythm that works best for the people in that group. Some groups meet weekly at MCC, while others gather every other week. We recommend that Small Groups meet at least every other week, since meeting less frequently can make it difficult to stay connected if a gathering is missed.

Sure, but that should be agreed upon by the group. We have some small groups that have agreed to get sitters when they meet. We have others who desire to meet with their children present. MCC wants to support those with small children.
