Series Overview

This week we begin our summer series in the Twelve Minor Prophets. These books of the Old Testament receive the title "minor", because they are shorter in length, not of lesser importance. Each week we will review one minor prophet, discovering how the minor prophets are bridges to promise in the New Testament. As we begin with the book of Hosea, we encourage you to take 30 minutes this week to read or listen to Hosea in your Bible or HERE.

A pastoral note: The prophets can be daunting and confusing to read. And our goal of going through an entire book per week this summer is indeed ambitious and will leave much unexamined. However, these books contain rich depictions of God's faithfulness that points to Jesus and renewed creation in the Kingdom of Heaven. I pray that MCC can engage with these often-neglected books and, by the end, be able to say that we not only read the books together, but have a deeper grasp of God's faithfulness to his people. - Pastor Anthony
