Two Services: 12 pm and 6:30 pm at Monroe Community Church

Come join us on Wednesday, February 22nd, for our Ash Wednesday Services, jointly held with Christ Church Anglican. We will be offering two services, one at noon and the other at 6:30 pm.

Ash Wednesday marks the start of the Lenten season, a period of solemn contemplation and introspection, during which we reflect on our relationship with God and strive to prepare ourselves spiritually for Easter. As we gather together to observe this special day, let us be reminded of the words of Jesus in Luke 9:23: “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” This call to deny ourselves and take up our crosses is an important aspect of our journey as we enter the Lenten season.

Let us come together in prayer and reflection, as we unite in our commitment to follow Jesus on this path of spiritual growth.
