Crucial Conversations – Summer 2021

Crucial Conversations

We are excited to welcome everyone back to our Crucial Conversations series for the summer of 2021. Crucial Conversations provides a safe and respectful setting to discuss some of the hotter topics of the day. We will be meeting in-person at the MCC warehouse. Here are the topics and dates –

The Church and Immigration – June 14, 7 PM
Welcoming the needy vs. securing the borders: what should the church’s stance be on immigration? How much and in what way should we insert ourselves into the immigration debate?

Politics & Faith – July 12, 7 PM
Our country seems more divided than ever before. Right wing, left wing, what would Jesus say to us?

Mental Health and the Church – August 9, 7 PM
We are coming out of a global pandemic and the statistics show an increase in mental health needs. How can the church do a better job caring for individuals and families facing these needs?

Mark your calendars and join us! We are also working on a way for people to participate by zoom, so stay tuned!
